| Each proposal must be submitted on the proper forms contained in the Contract Documents and shall be accompanied by a bid bond, certified check, or a treasurer's or cashier's check issued by a responsible bank or trust company in an amount equal to at least five percent (5%) of the amount of the Proposal, payable to the Order of the City of Elgin
|

| The successful bidder will be required to furnish a satisfactory Performance Bond and Labor and Materials Payment Bond in the full amount of the Bid or Proposal and a certificate of insurance naming the City of Elgin as an additional insured.
|
|
|
| The successful bidder(s) also must comply with all of the provisions of the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act.
