Sealed bids will be received by the Purchasing Agent of the City of Elgin, Illinois, until 11:00 A.M. local time, November 16, 2009, for the 2009 Sewer Lining Project. The proposed improvement includes the following base bid quantities: the installation of a complete cured in place pipe lining of approximately 18,600 ln ft of sanitary sewer, and all other appurtenant work and materials necessary to complete the project.

| The successful bidder shall pay prevailing wage and shall provide certified payrolls to the City for the duration of the Project.

| All proposals must be accompanied by a Bid Bond, Certified, Cashier’s Check, or a Bank Draft in an amount equal to at least 5 percent of the bid, payable without condition to the City of Elgin.
|
|
|
| The successful bidder shall be required to furnish a satisfactory contract bond to the City of Elgin by a surety company authorized to do business in the State of Illinois covering the full amount of the contract.
