EPD-U, the new Citizens Police Academy

Welcome to the new Citizens Police Academy, EPD-U. We have changed our classroom approach to the academy. Rather than ask students to commit to multiple weeks in succession, we are offering one class each month for nine months. Registration will be open three weeks before each new class is offered. Those who attend six of the eight sessions during 2020 will be invited to attend the final graduation session in October, which will include shooting on the EPD range and using the shoot/don't shoot scenario simulator. Graduates will also be eligible to join the Citizens Police Academy Alumni Association (CPAAA) and continue their involvement with further education and volunteer opportunities.

We are excited to offer this new opportunity and hope our community will make EPD-U a success!
