Donate Cell Phones to the CASE Program for Seniors

The Community Relations and Crime Prevention Division of the Elgin Police Department collects cell phones to distribute to Elgin residents, age 60 or older, as part of the CASE (Cellular Assistance for Seniors of Elgin) Program. The cell phones are used to assist seniors in reporting emergencies and are programmed to only call 9-1-1. They are free of charge and there is no monthly fee for the service.

Cell phones must be functional and have a working charger in order to be eligible for donation.

For more information on the program or to donate a phone, call (847) 289-2530.
