COVID-19 Vaccination Policy
Effective September 8, 2021, all applicants for employment with the City of Elgin shall be required to provide proof of a COVID-19 vaccination prior to being hired unless a reasonable accommodation is approved.
As a condition of employment with the City of Elgin, applicants for employment must provide proof of a COVID-19 vaccination at the time of a conditional job offer. Applicants for employment with the City of Elgin must be fully vaccinated prior to being hired by the City of Elgin.
