Citizens gather at Festival Park (132 S. Grove Avenue) to view the annual tree lighting ceremony. Mayor Kaptain, members of City Council, and Santa turn on the holiday tree lights. In 2021, the event was accompanied by performers from the Ballet Folkorico Huehuecotyl and the Larkin High School Jazz Band. The 2022 Tree Lighting Ceremony is set to occur on November 26th at 5:00p.m..
