Learn about the history of this fascinating Neo-Classic building by noted architect David Postle, as well as the sometimes-bizarre history of Elgin Public Museum and its exhibits. What was the truth about the infamous Two-Headed Calf? How did the bird collection of one of the 20th century's most cold-blooded murderers become part of the museum? You'll learn, in this fascinating tour of the 100+ years-old building known as, "Elgin's Hidden Gem." Standard museum admission of $3 adults, $2 kids 3-12 and Seniors 60+, Free under 3/Museum Members/Elgin Twp Senior Access Pass holders applies, but no extra charge for the guided tour. Tours begin at 12, 1, and 2, and last about 45 minutes.
