Fur Pet's Sake: Elgin's Expo and Vaccination Clinic is a brand new event this year, taking place on Saturday, June 15 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Kimball Middle School. This event, replacing the previous Pet Expo and Health and Safety events, will provide a new location with a lot more activities to entertain the entire family (those with fur AND without).
*Pets must be leashed.
The Pet Expo portion of the event is OPEN TO ALL, residents and non-residents.
Entertainment and Activities include:
-MEET & GREEN WITH ELGIN POLICE K-9s
-Trick Dog Demonstrations
-Pet Agility Course
-$5 Nail Trims for Pets
-Police and Fire Vehicles
There will be dozens of pet vendors representing:
-Pet Supply Companies
The Vaccination Clinic portion the event is available to PETS OF ELGIN RESIDENTS ONLY. The clinic is cash only.

Members from the business community are invited to come meet with the Elgin Police Department to learn about the EPD Ambassador Program. We will explain our training opportunities and resources that may be valuable to your company. In addition, we want to learn more about your business and what volunteer opportunities you may have for us. We'll talk for a little bit, give you a tour of the station, and have staff available to talk to you. Registration is requested for this free event.

Community Assessment and Management of Persons Needing Shelter (CAMPS) is meeting to update the community on what has been done recently to help those experiencing homelessness.
