13th Annual Elgin Short Film Festival

Saturday, September 18, 2021

As the 2020 Elgin Short Film Festival was cancelled, we are extremely happy to be able to bring the 13th Annual Elgin Short Film Festival to light this year!

Mark your calendars! This event grows in popularity every year. The short films are always highly impressive, and the atmosphere is perfect! *The Red Carpet. The Pre-Show. The glitz and glam of the evening is always so exciting, and a night to remember!

Come & enjoy an evening of scintillating cinematic history. See the best of the best from various genres on the big screen. The top pre-screened films up to 20 minutes in length will be presented at the festival; winners will be selected by a panel of judges and you! In person audience members will be casting their votes for their favorite film at intermission. Following intermission, awards and prizes will be presented!

So get your friends and family together and come down for this unique event!  This year, we will also be offering a streaming option to watch from afar if you can't make it to the festival.

The Red Carpet Arrival and Pre-Show Entertainment start at 6pm outside, with the Festival Screening starting at 7pm inside.

Enjoy the screening of "Willful Peggy" (filmed in 1910 starring Mary Pickford directed by D.W. Griffith) with a live chamber music performance to accompany the film.  This is included with entry into the festival this year!

Coming with a group and want to sit together?  Make sure to purchase all of your tickets together in one transaction.  If you purchase 4+ tickets in advance, tickets are just $9 each.  All tickets are $10 day of.

MPAA - R rating films permitted.  Those 17 and younger must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

MASKS REQUIRED.     THIS EVENT WILL BE SOCIALLY DISTANCED WITH RESERVED SEATING.
